The Truck & Trailer

Belief: Buyers need to experience the work before they commit. Show, don’t just tell.
I couldn’t crack one large contractor — they’d bought absolutely nothing from me. A new product line launched and prospects kept saying “I believe it when I see it.” So I bought a truck and trailer, loaded sample equipment, and hauled it around the countryside so contractors could touch and feel the product. Unheard of at the time. That contractor became the largest consumer of the line.
A great sales asset doesn’t describe the work. It lets the buyer experience it.
